Central Neighbourhood House, 1995
Donor Recognition Artwork
fabric, embroidery, wood; 4 x 10 feet
This donor recognition artwork was a commission for the Central Neighbourhood House community centre in Toronto. The format uses a range of fabrics and colours, loosely referencing diversity while lending a warm, home-spun quality, a sensibility in keeping with the centre’s mandate. The design also accounts for the addition of new donor names over time.
